the Center City Opera Theater as it presents
the REGIONAL PREMIERE of
American Composer Mark Adamo's
LITTLE WOMEN
Based on Louisa May Alcott's classic, this performance takes
place in the Kimmel Center's 200-seat black-box theater Innovation
Studio. Sung in English, this semi-staged production features
a cast of outstanding young singers with music led by Artistic
Director Andrew Kurtz and stage direction by General Director
Jonathon Loy. Kara Cornell (Jo), Ashleigh Rabbit (Amy), Lara
Stevens (Alma March), Dan Kempson (John Brooke), Sara Blann
(Aunt Celia), Stephanos Tsirakoglou (Fredrich Bhaer) and Jeremy
Milner (Gideon March/Mr. Dashwood) make their Center City
Opera Theater debuts. Returning artists Jody Sheinbaum, Leandra
Ramm and Ollie Marseglia complete the cast as Beth, Meg and
Laurie.
A free pre-concert lecture for tickets holder is given at 1:30pm, one hour prior to performance.
